Kicking the Hobbit
Guillermo Del Toro is off The Hobbit.
Does this mean he’ll have time to do both the third Hellboy
sequel and, even more excitingly for us Lovecraft Although I’m very sorry he won’t get to do his unique spin on Middle Earth, I am also relieved that he will now be free to carry on with his own incredible vision. I wouldn’t want him tied for more than six years, either. Lord of the Rings has had three movies and gazillion dollars spent on it, and I enjoyed almost every minute of it (although 18 endings was pushing it...)
